The Somali community open day

The Somali community open day was a chance to demonstrate what the Broomhall Centre and other services had to offer. Different agencies attended from the DSS, housing officers and health visitors.

The Broomhall Centre has always supported the different cultures in the area but the Somali community were over 10% of the Broomhall population* so they were a particular community to reach out to.

*The records were collected in 2009 and the actual figure is 11.3%
