The Sheffield Blitz in took place on 12^th and 15^th December 1940.  Many houses, schools and churches in Broomhall suffered the wrath of the Luftwaffe during those two nights, especially on the 12^th December. However, the community in this area seemed to shrug off what happened and quickly got to work on re-building the area.
