The Sheffield Blitz in took place on 12th and 15th December 1940.  Many houses, schools and churches in Broomhall suffered the wrath of the Luftwaffe during those two nights, especially on the 12th December. However, the community in this area seemed to shrug off what happened and quickly got to work on re-building the area.
