The Moor was an arcade shopping street that George loved to walk down and there are many stories of this, with his friends or his family as well as the devastating paintings of The Moor after the blitz. The picture below shows the Co-operative on the Arcade and a photograph from Picture Sheffield shows it from above in the 1970s.
