Memories of how much Broomhall has changed

Malcolm and Josie Moore describe the extensive changes to the nature of the Broomhall area over the years.

Clarence St has completely gone. Pickering’s, the ‘box people’ on Moore St has gone, along with the 3 little shops.

Different little enclaves had very different characteristics, but the 1970s brought major changes.

The Broomhall Flats came and went – in part due to substandard construction.
